It’s a great feeling to know your words have been enjoyed and appreciated by others.
To fulfill my part in accepting this award, here are 7 things you may not know about me.
1 I learned to play the piano and read music when I was four…..the same age I learned to read words.
2 I modelled in a Smartie advert!
3 My favourite author, and one who I return to when I want to be inspired to write beautiful prose, is Terry Pratchett. His clarity, economy and storytelling ease always makes me smile.
4 I attended my first dance class……. at the age of 40!
5 I love to write with a fountain pen on a big fat pad of A4 paper. I always have two pens ready to write……my fountain pen from my A levels which has blue ink and a bright red Waterman filled with black ink.
6 When we move to Wales, it will be my eight move….. and furthest from my original home.
7 I drive a green Subaru Forester which includes the letters NDP which sums up my life…… Nearly Damn Perfect!
Now to nominate the blogs of others for this prestigious award. All the following have made me smile or opened my eyes to things I didn’t know…… the envelope opens…… and the nominees are……
